Last year Anacortes won the 2A state championship in impressive fashion including a 60-30 victory over Tumwater in the title game. Quarterback Rex Larson helped lead that team and his 181 yards passing on 16-20 attempts helped the West down the East in the 2024 Earl Barden Classic at East Valley High School.
